LE FONDOUK RESTAURANT
Everyone knows Le Fondouk. It´s one of the best restaurant into the medina. The reason for such fame is excellent value quality-price. You can diner from € 20-30.
The contrast between the vitality of the streets and the beautiful, elegant, romantic and intimate atmosphere that offers Le Fondouk is surprising.
Quietly tucked in the souk, it was charming with white table linens and candlelight everywhere. The food was well presented and fabulous and the staff
were very friendly and
ttentive.
Your kitchen is very correct. It has two menus, Moroccan and French cuisine .
Also it has a good selecction of wines . You can taste “grey wine”, a Moroccan variety of Meknes area.
Remember that should be reserved, especially on weekends.
We recommend to taste “tanjia marrakshia” and “briwats”. Only a dish peer person it´s OK.
It is located between Ben Youssef Madrasa, the true epicenter of the medina, and Moukef square, on a street where once the old hostels (fondouks) .
